REMOTOX is not regulated as a hazardous material or dangerous goods for transportation. Product is available in pails, drums, totes and in tank truckloads. When properly stored, REMOTOX has been tested to maintain its effectiveness for a minimum of one (1) year. Materials of construction suitable for storing REMOTOX include stainless steel, fiberglass, polyethylene and polypropylene. See compatibility chart for more detail. Safety Measures:


REMOTOX is corrosive due to its caustic nature. Workers are advised to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to avoid exposure to the skin or eyes. Use REMOTOX in well ventilated area, and wash thoroughly after handling. Do not mix with acids to prevent the formation of hydrogen sulfide vapors. See Safety Data Sheet for additional information regarding the safe handling of our product.

Product Overview

REMOTOX does not contain dithiocarbamate, or other carbon disulfide derived salts. It is a non-toxic reagent that oxidizes under aerobic conditions to form calcium, sulfate and elemental sulfur.

REMOTOX® is a Calcium Polysulfide aqueous solution, also commonly referred to as Lime Sulfur, which is formed when calcium hydroxide and elemental sulfur react in water. REMOTOX is a strong reducing agent consisting of multiple inorganic sulfur compounds.
